Display Fireworks Course
This is a one day course, taught by Victor Anber, designed to introduce you to the world of professional fireworks. Victor is one of a select few experienced, qualified trainers of the ERD (Explosives Regulatory Division).
Display Fireworks (Type F.2) are high-hazard firework articles designed for use by professionals. These articles include items such as aerial shells, cakes, roman candles, waterfalls, lances and wheels. These types of fireworks are used in the big fireworks shows that take place, for example, on Canada Day.
The Display Fireworks Safety and Legal Awareness Course is a prerequisite for entry into the field as an Apprentice and then to be certified as a Fireworks Supervisor.
To obtain your certificate you must:
- be 18 years or older
- pass the display fireworks safety and legal awareness course
- apply to ERD to receive a Fireworks Operator Certificate with a head shot photo and $100
